Heritage Weekend 2020

It is with great consideration, sadness, and the upmost concern for the citizens of Hardy County that the Hardy County Tour & Craft Association has voted to cancel the 2020 Hardy County Heritage Weekend. The board felt that a modified event could not be done safely due to COVID-19. Canceling the 67th Heritage Weekend was not a decision that was arrived at easily. The board of directors met with the local health department and spent several months weighing all the risks. It is our hope that Heritage Weekend can be bigger and better than ever in 2021.

The Hardy County Tour & Craft Association will still be producing and selling the annual tile as a fundraiser for the continued efforts of the organization. The 2020 tile will proudly feature the Leatherman Barn and will be available for sale at the Hardy County Public Library at a later point in time. The Leatherman Barn will be featured as the “tile house” along with the 2021 “tile house” at Heritage Weekend 2021.

The Hardy County Tour & Craft Association thanks the community for their ongoing support and understanding. We look for brighter days in the months and years to come!
