Quilt Show

Saturday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 - 4 p.m.

Experience the beauty and tradition of quilting
at this year’s Quilt Show, where function meets
art in every stitch. Presented by the Highland Star
Quilting Guild, the exhibit honors Hardy County’s
past and present through vibrant, handcrafted
quilts that reflect the rich heritage of Appalachian
craftsmanship.

This year’s theme, “Sharing Memories,” features
a heartfelt collection of memory quilts, teddy bears,
and pillows—each piece telling a story. The guild will also display lap robes made especially
for donation to the local cancer center, showcasing both creativity and compassion.
Don’t miss this colorful, inspiring display—a true feast for the eyes and a celebration of
community through the timeless art of quilting.
