Step back in time and discover how Appalachian children made their own fun! Before video games, smartphones, and television filled their days, children gathered outdoors and entertained themselves with simple games, friendly competition, and a little imagination.
Come play the games of the past! Try your hand at marbles, hoop rolling, jacks, washers, jump rope, races, sack races, and more. Bring the whole family and experience the fun, laughter, and friendly competition that entertained generations of Appalachian children.
