Kid's Passport Contest
HCT&CA is proud to offer the Heritage Weekend Passport once again. Passports can be picked up at any of the Welcome Centers. The passport program was developed to get students involved and interested in history. It can become a personal travel record with stamps and notes of places and events visited. Some teachers will give extra credit for participating in passport activities.
The Heritage Weekend Booklet will indicate where to find the locations, times, and activities to receive stamps. Passports with 10 or more stamps can be returned to a Welcome Center before 3 p.m. on Sept. 28 and receive a special prize. All completers can enter a grand prize drawing for a Kindle Fire. Look for the icon throughout the booklet to find stamp locations.
A tour ticket is still necessary to enter places that require a ticket, even with a passport, unless students are under 12. However, there are many free places and activities to get passports stamped.
