Benefitting the Hardy County Tour and Craft Association

(Limited seating. Reservation required.)

Get the best seat in the county for Moorefield's fireworks at the Community Park and support the ongoing efforts of the Hardy County Tour and Craft Association at the same time! The Firecracker Express (also known as the Potomac Eagle) will run a special train on Saturday, July 4, 2009 to celebrate Independence Day:

6:00 pm - Train Boards in Moorefield at the Jefferson Street Crossing.
6:30 pm - Train Departs Jefferson Street Crossing
6:30 pm to 9:15 pm - Train Ride through the 'Trough' to Romney Flats and Back
9:15 pm - Train Returns to Moorefield in Time to Watch the Fireworks from the Train (weather permitting)

Tickets:

Club Car: $50.00 per person (sorry, no children) - Ticket includes the train ride, a ham dinner, seating in an air-conditioned rail car, access to a private observation car or Pullman car to view the fireworks.

Table Club Car: $40.00 per person - Ticket includes the train ride, a ham dinner, and seating in a car without air-conditioning. Children are permitted but no discounted tickets are provided.

Coach Car: $20.00 for adults and $10 for children ages 6 to 16. Children under the age of 6 may ride for free - Ticket includes the train ride. Hot dogs, nachos, soft drinks, water, etc. will be offered for sale on board, or guests may bring their own picnic dinner. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets for this special train excursion are available for sale at the Moorefield Public Library and at the Lost River Artisans Cooperative. Or call the Potomac Eagle Office at 304-424-0736 if you wish to pay by credit card.
